WHO WE ARE
The Children’s Health Collaborative (CHC) works to ensure every child in Allen County reaches their full potential. CHC is one organization in a collaboration with community partners working hard for children. CHC advocates for evidence-based, community-specific initiatives to help children in our community.

CHC is a county-wide collaboration in partnership with the Allen County Department of Health and multiple direct service providers. The vision of the Children’s Health Collaborative is to create a system of care where all kids in Allen County are physically, mentally, spiritually healthy and educated to their highest potential. CHC’s mission is to develop multi-disciplinary, integrated solutions to improve the health and well-being of our children that creates a pathway to prosperity for all youth in Allen County.
WHAT WE DO
creating a system of care for every child
The work of CHC focuses on incorporating local pediatric health data and community stakeholder input into the original strategic plan – a plan facilitated by retired Allen County Health Commissioner Dr. Deborah A. McMahan, MD – and identifying four key focus areas that needed addressing to support the health and well-being of our youth.

In an effort to create a system of care where all children in Allen County are physically, mentally, and spiritually healthy and educated to their fullest potential, the following initiatives are currently being piloted with several community partners in collaboration with CHC:
Academic Enrichment and Support
